Collective Agency has had at least 16 members in online events or online coworking the past few weeks. Here are photos of the many events. Our physical locations are 100% temporarily closed, but please refer people if they might want a regular long-term community online.
StoryShare (shown above) was last Friday night. Nine of us first tossed away the thoughts, things, and feelings we didn’t want from earlier in the week, brought closer the thoughts, things, and feelings we did want more of, and then wrote questions we wanted to hear 3-minute impromptu true stories about from each of us. Then we went around and told the stories. For me, this was the night when I got happier than before. Since then I’ve read the news and stressed a lot less, and focused on doing things that I feel better by and have more joy, presence, and connection in the moment while doing. I’m told a few people stayed talking online for a couple hours after the event ended. Thanks for Scott for introducing StoryShare to Collective Agency a few months ago!
Pomodoro coworking has been a big thing at the Montavilla office especially. Here’s what it looked like online recently. Pomodoro coworking is: there’s a timer, you work for 25 minutes on your own thing with the audio and video off (I just disconnect from the videocall), then you turn on video and audio if you want to when the timer goes off, socialize for 5 minutes, then back to work for another 25 minutes. Thanks to Chris for introducing group Pomodoro!
