What’s something you’re passionate about?
Staying healthy! I do pole dancing, flexibility training, barre, and yoga most days of the week. But also, ice cream.
What are you working on when you’re here?
I work for a benefits consulting firm and right now I am managing a pension calculation testing project. I also do project management for Requests for Proposal processes for benefits administration outsourcing services.
What have you learned in the past week and what would you like to learn in the next week?
I learned yesterday that I am capable of doing a backbend, which is really exciting because I have never been good at doing those.
And I also learned — how do I put this into words — not to take for granted, healthcare and women’s freedoms that we have today that may not always be there.
I hope to learn that ice cream is secretly really good for you.
What’s a memorable or valuable experience you’ve had at Collective Agency, and why?
When we had the Christmas party last year, that was really fun and I got to know a lot of people. There were really funny White Elephant gifts and I learned the secret “butter” to grilled cheese sandwiches from fellow member Dan — mayo.
Also, more recently, there was the time that we all had to work in the conference rooms because of an event [at the NW location], and so I was able to get to know fellow member Allie a lot better, so that was cool.
Why do you work at Collective Agency?
My current job is 100% work-from-home, and I get really sad when I don’t get to interact with people during the workday. I work at Collective Agency with the goal of talking with people and learning about what they do.
What’s something you love about the neighborhood?
There are so many different places where you can get lunch, drinks and snacks within very close walking distance [at the Division location].
What question would you like me to ask you, and what’s your answer?
That’s a really tough question. ‘What’s your favorite food cart?’
And my answer: this is tough. I didn’t think it would be difficult. It’s probably Chez Dodo [in NW], even though they often have a long line and they’re slow to serve your food.
