amanda“Before someone told me about the option of co-working, I worked from a home office. I found that I really missed the social aspect of a traditional office that involves conversation and people to go to lunch with you.

After checking out a number of options for co-working in Portland I’m very happy to have landed at Collective Agency.

I checked out a few other places but here’s why this place is unmatched:

People here will make an effort to get to know you better and there’s a culture of socialization that you won’t find anywhere else. People will strike up a conversation when you see them in the kitchen and on most days there’s a group of people that go to lunch together (everyone is invited to join).

Your opinion on the inner workings of the office will be solicited — Alex is always eager to get feedback from members on what would make Collective Agency a better co-working space and he actually follows through on the feedback he receives. Throughout the office there are posters asking members to vote on this or vote on that or write about something they appreciate in the work space. In addition, there are regular meetings where members can share what they are working on to solicit feedback from other members.

Finally, I this place gives you the most “bang for your buck” in terms of what the basic membership includes. Specifically, there are all kinds of items for sharing such as computer monitors, cords and headsets that I haven’t seen anywhere else.

If you are looking for a co-working space in Portland, definitely make sure you check this place out.”
