For this month’s Happy Hour, we welcomed in the summer sun by making a picnic area in the Big Loft Room. Moving aside the couches, we set out blankets and assembled delicious potluck food and drink. We enjoyed spending time together, getting to know some of the newer members (and vice versa), telling travel stories, and trying new foods.
I introduced everyone to my favorite sandwich: peanut butter, jelly, and roast beef. There was some skepticism.
Five of us made sandwiches and gave it a try. They were a hit! Everyone agreed that there was a certain synergy between the flavors. We speculated why this might be and how other combinations would work.
Once again, I came away from Happy Hour at Collective Agency feeling great and appreciating the people I get to work alongside. Gratitude.
